Harrison Library Renovations Proceed--So Do Programs Around Town

As the Harrison Public Library undergoes its renovation, the librarians, trustees and Friends are making sure local residents have access to great programs and books.

The West Harrison branch is full of events and programs—and books and periodicals and research tools.

The Harrison Jewish Community Center, the Senior Center, Town Hall and even Uncle Harry’s Bar and Grill are generously hosting events.

For example, children’s programs at the JCC on Thursdays include Storytime for Toddlers and Arts and Crafts for Preschoolers. And this Friday’s noon movie (at Town Hall) is ”The Judge” with a great cast including Robert Downey Jr., Robert Duvall, Vincent D’Onofrio, and Billy Bob Thornton.
