Walking History Hike: The Hills Learn more about local Westchester Historical "Hills" community!
This Saturday, June 11, Harrison Public Library continues its next initiative towards promoting a healthy mind and body! Join Bice Wilson on a guided hike through the historical "Hills" community! The "Hills", located on current-day Silver Lake Preserve, was once the largest African American farming community during the Civil War.
**Pack a lunch, water, and wear proper hiking attire for wooded areas**
Hike will last three to four hours. No sign-up is required.
