Harrison Resident & Westchester Radio Host Has TV Plans

Harrison resident, Cris Spinner is using her radio personality to take her one step further to her career goal. The 56 year old WVOX radio host has no plans of stopping now. Her show, “The Cris Spinner Show”, has gained a huge audience over the past year, likely because of Cris’ fun personality, hot topics, and real-life talk, captures a variety of listeners.

“Hosting my own radio show is something I had been contemplating for quite awhile - I love talking to others, sharing my opinions and insight on many topics and inspiring others to discover their best selves,” says Spinner. Though her live radio show airs on just Tuesday’s at 8pm, she is busy Monday through Friday teaching Chorus to students at Louis M. Klein Middle School. Cris’ musical background is extensive.

Yet, Cris’ s favorite gig is one known to many. The devoted single mom spends a great deal of her time making sure that her 20 year old son, Anthony, who has Autism, has a quality life and the care he needs. “Anthony and I have a wonderful story. Our journey has been filled with amazing successes and serious challenges and has completely changed the trajectory of my life…for the better! We are a team!” says Spinner. Talking about her life experiences with Anthony is certainly relatable to many of her listeners.

So what are Cris’ plans now? This radio host, mom and educator is “redefining this experience we call life” and aiming straight for television! “I know I would be a perfect fit for any group panel talk show such as The View, but my ultimate goal is to be inspiring the planet through my own daily TV show. I’m intending to invite the world into my world: a place for great conversation, fabulous entertainment, authentic inspiration and ordinary enlightenment!” says Spinner. She’s determined to have her voice heard and share her views and experiences with the world.
