Harrison School Calendar 2019-20: First Day Of School

HARRISON, NY — The first day of school is Sept. 5 in Harrison — and whether you and the kids are looking forward to the new school year or are dreading the end of summer, you'll want to mark the dates on your calendar ASAP.

The calendars include important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays and parent-teacher conferences.

Upcoming Harrison Board of Education meetings are scheduled for Aug. 7 and Aug. 28 in the Louis M. Klein Middle School Library. Meetings will begin at 7 p.m. and a proposed executive session, if required, at 7:15 p.m. At 8:15 p.m. the board will return to public session.

• 11/11: No School (Veterans Day)
• 11/27: Early Dismissal
• 11/28-29: No School (Thanksgiving Break)

• 12/12, 13: K-5 Parent Teacher Conferences
• 12/23-31: No School (Holiday Recess)

January

• 1/1: No School (New Year's Day)
• 1/20: No School (Martin Luther King Jr. Day)

February

• 2/7: Superintendent Conference Day
• 2/17-21: No School (Winter Recess)

March

• 3/19, 20: K-5 Parent-Teacher Conferences

April

• 4/6-10: No School (Spring Recess)

• 5/25: No School (Memorial Day)

• 6/5: K-5 Early Dismissal
