Harrison Welcomes Bestselling Author Jamie Ford

Harrison High School in partnership with the Harrison Public Library is delighted to welcome New York Times bestselling author Jamie Ford to Harrison. He will be speaking in the HHS Student Union on Wednesday, February 6th at 7pm. This special event is FREE and open to the public. Registration is recommended – www.harrisonpl.org.

Mr. Ford is best known for his novel Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet, which was awarded the Asian Pacific American Award for Literature and was on the New York Times bestseller list for over two years. Mr. Ford’s second novel, Songs of Willow Frost, was also a New York Times bestseller and a favorite among community reading programs.

Mr. Ford’s latest work, Love and Other Consolation Prizes, was published by Ballentine in September of 2017 was released in paperback in May 2018. Inspired by trued events, he returns to the themes of identify and belonging familiar to his readers.
