Harrison's Dennis Di Lorenzo Named Dean of NYU School of Continuing and Professional Studies

NYU President John Sexton and Provost David McLaughlin have named Harrison resident Dennis Di Lorenzo as Dean of the NYU School of Continuing and Professional Studies. Di Lorenzo had previously served as Vice Dean and Interim Dean of NYU-SCPS.
NYU-SCPS attracts nearly 5,000 degree-seeking students and close to 48,000 noncredit enrollments annually from around the globe, with diverse graduate, undergraduate, and noncredit programs in fields such as Real Estate, Sports Management, Global Affairs, Fundraising, Human Resources, Communications, and Liberal Arts.
Dean Di Lorenzo first joined NYU-SCPS 20 years ago, shortly after he graduated from Fordham University, and has over time served in increasingly senior roles with wider responsibilities. As a member of the NYU-SCPS leadership team, his tenure at NYU-SCPS has been characterized by deep attention to the student experience, a commitment to high educational standards, and an instinct for continually innovating in ways that make NYU-SCPS a better school.
