HCSD Joins With Its Teachers to Thank the Community For Supporting Our Schools
Harrison teachers from all six schools greeted parents and students in a show of support for their commitment to public schools

The teachers and administrators of the Harrison Central School District greeted parents and students to personally thank them for their support of Harrison’s Public Schools.
“The outreach is just a part of the on-going discussion with the Harrison community regarding the importance of well-supported public schools to the country- as best exemplified by the HCSD schools,” said Dr. Christopher Tyler, HHS teacher, coordinator of the successful HHS International Baccalaureate program, and President of the Harrison Association of Teachers.
The Harrison community overwhelmingly supported a Facilities Improvement Bond Referendum for improvements in all six Harrison Schools in October. Many of the improvement projects will begin in the summer.
