The Harrison Central School District is proud to announce that 100% of the 29 Harrison High School Varsity athletic teams have earned Scholar-Athlete Team designation from the New York State Public High School Athletic Association again this year. Harrison will have earned this prestigious honor for the second consecutive year. This designation requires that a specific number of varsity athletes, per team, achieve a grade point average of 90 or above. Harrison High School will be deemed "A School of Distinction" by NYSPHSAA later this summer.
Harrison High School athletes, along with coaches, teachers and administrators, have focused efforts on ensuring that all of its students have the same opportunities to participate in afterschool study and review sessions by starting practices an hour after school. Students are able to meet their academic obligations and strengthen their athletic endeavours.
