HHS Earth Science Students Explore the Museum of Natural History
Harrison High School Students Study the Connection Between Science and History

The Harrison High School’s Earth Science students connected the dots between science and history at a recent trip to the American Museum of Natural History in New York City. The trip was made possible through a grant received from the Harrison Educational Foundation.
The Museum is well aligned to the concepts taught in earth science including astronomy, the Earth’s history, plate tectonics, and rocks and minerals. While the students were there, they visited the following exhibits: Hall of Minerals, Hall of Meteorites, Dinosaurs, Hall of Planet Earth, and the Rose Center for Earth and Space.
