HHS Honors National Foreign Language Honor Society Students

Congratulations to the 107 Harrison High School students who were inducted into the National Foreign Language Honor Society. Student speakers Miwa Goble (French), Jaclyn Ciaramella (Italian), Phoebe Streeter (Latin) and Vanessa Serna Villa (Spanish) provided reflections of their experiences immersed in their chosen languages.

The ceremonial oaths were led by Kaitlyn Fiery (French), Ismael Galvez (Italian), Valeria Rodriguez (Latin) and Dana Infante (Spanish) and the National Foreign Language candles were lit by Emma Brenner, Louis Giacomo, Lauren Barbulescu, and Lindsay Amann.

Caroline DeSchryver entertained with a masterful musical interlude of “Soulman” by Ben L’Onclesoul, accompanied by Stephanie Tateiwa on the saxophone.
