HHS Literary Magazine Club Is Ranked Superior By the NCTE

The Harrison High School Literary Magazine Club received a rank of Superior in the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE)’s Program to Recognize Excellence in Student Literary Magazines Contest for their 2012-13 issue of Imagine Magazine.

According to the NCTE’s website, the Program to Recognize Excellence in Student Literary Magazines (PRESLM) recognizes students, teachers, and schools for producing excellent literary magazines. The program’s mission is to encourage all schools to develop literary magazines and seek excellence in writing and school-wide participation in production. Participation in the program serves as an inducement for improving the quality of school literary magazines.

The editors of HHS’ Imagine Literary Magazine are Amanda Friedman, Alexandra Franco, Sydney Mueller, Claudia Marino and Amr El-Azizi and the clubs advisor is Kimberly Grogan.
