HHS Playhouse Presents Thornton Wilder's Our Town

Harrison High School Performs The Classic Play for their Spring Drama

The HHS Playhouse is excited to present three performances of the classic Thornton Wilder play Our Town on Friday, May 20th at 7pm and Saturday, May 21st at 1pm and 7pm in the Harrison Performing Arts Center.

Student-directed by seniors Julia Di Lorenzo and Christine Prezioso, Our Town is a play that follows the lives of Emily Webb and George Gibbs – a couple who grows up together in the small town of Grover’s Corners. The play spans their entire lifetime, but gives a glimpse into only three days of their lives: a day from their childhood, their wedding day, and the day that Emily dies. Throughout the play, audience members are challenged to reflect on the routine days and small moments that make up their lives.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students and seniors. No reservations are necessary and tickets will be available at the door.
