Over 170 Harrison High School students were inducted into the National Foreign Language Honor Society and were recognized for their outstanding academic performance in languages other than English. The ceremony was enhanced with student reflections by seniors Amna Haider and Antonia Lovjer from the French class, Erica Dattero from Italian, Jenna Lefkowitz from the Latin class, and Kendra Deschamps from Spanish.
Student musical performances included senior Sarah Curtis’ rendition of the classic Puccini aria “O mio Babbino caro” and a strings performance of Soon Hee Newbold’s “Fantasia Espanola” by seniors Aura Gomez-Tagle, Antonia Lovjer and sophomores Emily Murray and Ayaka Yorihio.
