The Harrison High School Varsity Cheerleaders were honored for their charitable works at the Third Annual Lindsey Night Gala, benefitting the Peace OUTside Campus organization through the Lindsey Bonistall Foundation. The Foundation is dedicated to promoting peace and safe living environments in college communities nationwide. The goal of the Foundation is “to empower students and their families and encourage them to be more proactive in safeguarding themselves against those who perpetuate crime and violence.”
The Team was awarded a plaque for “generous commitment of time, inspiration, and dedication to our mission” and a Certificate of Achievement from US Congresswoman Nita Lowey in recognition of outstanding contribution to others.
