Hudson Valley-Based Company On New List Of Best Places To Work In NY

HARRISON, NY — WESTMED Medical Group, based in Purchase, has been named to a list of the “Best Large Workplaces in New York” by FORTUNE and research and consulting firm Great Place to Work. The list also includes several companies with headquarters elsewhere — notably Manhattan and New Jersey — but who have locations in the Hudson Valley, in case you're looking for places to send a resume.

The researchers considered 137,000 employee surveys about the organizations’ culture, leadership, benefits, and other factors crucial to an outstanding employee experience.

The Best Large Workplaces in New York prove that high performance businesses can also be friendly, collaborative workplaces, the researchers said. Among their employees, 92 percent say colleagues genuinely care about each other, while nine in 10 also say they’re willing to give extra to get the job done.

"The Best Workplaces give themselves a competitive advantage over peers by creating an environment where trust, collaboration and innovation can thrive,” said Michael Bush, CEO of Great Place to Work.

Earlier this year, WESTMED Medical Group was also was ranked as a “Best Workplace in Health Care in the U.S.” by Great Place to Work and FORTUNE, company officials said.
