Huskies Expect Big Year From Ricciardi
Expectations are high for the Harrison football team, many players and coaches are expecting Steven Ricciardi to have an impact season for the Huskies.
Steven Ricciardi has been referred to as one of the best athletes in his class by his coaches and peers, as the senior enters his final season with the Harrison football team both are expecting big things on the field.
Ricciardi is a three sport athlete. In the winter he can be seen as an enforcer on the hardwood for the Harrison basketball team, in the spring Ricciardi can be found manning the Harrison baseball team's outfield. But what Ricciardi is primarily known for is his ability to lead the Harrison secondary with both his hard hits and his nose for the ball.
Ricciardi was a starter for nearly all of last season and is expected to step into a leadership role during his senior season.

"We have a lot returning starters, more so this year then probably the last decade," said Harrison Football Head Coach Art Troilo Jr.
The coach mentioned Ricciardi as one of several returning players he is expecting big things from this fall.

"Guys are coming back with a year under their belts," said Harrison senior and captain Duke Alvora. "I am expecting big years from all of the starters."
As a basketball player Ricciardi started all but a few games and averaged just under five points and added three rebounds per game as one of the team's starting forwards.
The Harrison football season is rapidly approaching and Harrison will be playing their home games on a new field, but not much else will be different from last year. The squad is returning 18 of 22 starters on offense and defense and Ricciardi will be looked upon to provide leadership as well as talent.
The Huskies are getting ready for their first game in a few weeks, and Ricciardi said he is ready to get the season underway.
"Roosevelt week one, we lost to them last year because of a lot of turnovers, we are going to come out and do our best this year," said Ricciardi. "I just want to go out there and play the games, it's fun to have the people watching you."
