LMK Dance Club United With HHS' Dance Connections

Harrison Middle School Dancers Host Talent Show and Raise Money for local Pet Rescue

The Louis M. Klein Middle School Dance Club attended a Harrison High School Dance Connections weekly meeting and the club’s President Silvia Buonocore and Vice-president Rebecca Bell led the warm-up and taught a dance the two had choreographed.

The mission of the LMK Dance Club and HHS’ Dance Connections is to connect to the community through dance. The clubs are open to all students regardless of ability. The members share their talent and experience, as they teach, learn, and communicate about dance. At LMK, the Dance Club gives many students their first opportunity to dance and choreograph.

In February, the LMK Dance Club hosted the LMK Talent Show, in which they choreographed and performed an original dance. The members of the Dance Club donated the proceeds of the ticket sales to Pet Rescue in Larchmont.
