LMK and HHS Students of Italian Recognized For Excellence

Harrison Students were recognized for Excellence During Italian Heritage and Culture Month

Harrison students of Italian from Louis M. Klein Middle School and Harrison High School were recognized for excellence by the Westchester County Board of Legislators and the Meucci Lodge celebrating Italian Heritage and Culture Month in October. Harrison Central School District’s Italian teachers include Maria Conte, Christina Zaccagnino, and Enzina Zaino from LMK and Maria Battapaglia, Cristina Distasio, and Dana Jakubowski from HHS.

The three LMK students acknowledged by County Executive Rob Astorino were:

Parker Gibbons
Alexandra Greshman
Jillian Williams

Victoria Lendino – 9th grader – Level 2 Italian
Luis Giacomo – 11th grader – IB Italian Year 1 – DeCicco Scholarship winner
Samantha O’Reilly – 12th grader – Italian Year 2
