Man Demands Pills at Gunpoint: Harrison Cops

Police said he entered Trotta's Pharmacy on Sunday morning.

At 8:35 a.m. Sunday, Harrison Police Officers responded to Trotta's Pharmacy at 15 Halstead Ave. on a report of an armed robbery.

Police were told a man displayed a black handgun and made off with 1,600 prescription pills. No injuries were reported.

Astoria resident Christopher Johnson was taken into custody shortly after the robbery by Harrison Police Officers at 407 Carroll Ave., Mamaroneck, NY without incident. The black handgun displayed at the scene of the crime was recovered at the residence.

The 28-eyar-old was charged with 1-Count of Robbery-2 nd , Class – C – Felony. Bond was set at $25,000 and cash bail at $10,000. Johnson was unable to post bail and transported to the Westchester County Jail.

Johnson is due back at the Harrison Town Court on March 21, 2017.
