Metro-North Schedule for Good Friday, First Night of Passover

Harrison commuter alert

April 3 is Good Friday and the first night of Passover, and there will be some adjustments to MTA services.

Metro-North Railroad: On Friday, April 3, Metro-North will operate a regular weekday schedule, although with financial markets closed, ridership is expected to be down 30-to-40%.

Normally on Passover eve, Metro-North adds train cars to regularly scheduled outbound trains in the early afternoon from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., so there is capacity for those who want to get home for sundown. But since this is also Good Friday, and ridership is typically significantly lower, no added cars are planned.
