More Americans Hitting the Road This Memorial Day Weekend

More than 38 million Americans will be traveling during the 2016 Memorial Day weekend.

That's according to AAA, who said that is the second-highest Memorial Day volume on record and the most since 2005.

And because gas is cheaper this year than in 2015, AAA estimated that 700,000 more people will be traveling compared to last year.

“The great American road trip is officially back thanks to low gas prices,” said Marshall Doney, AAA president and CEO, “and millions of people from coast to coast are ready to kick off summer with a Memorial Day getaway.”

With all those people traveling, a lot of them are going to need to gas up their vehicles.
