The last time the Münchner Symphoniker toured the US was in 2011, and this ensemble’s return, with its signature classical-romantic repertoire, has been a highly anticipated event. This time, the world-class orchestra will share the stage with renowned guitarist Pepe Romero, the self-proclaimed ambassador of classical guitar who has entertained audiences worldwide for six decades, and Pepe’s real-life family, The Romeros, about whom The New York Times proclaimed, “Collectively, they are the only classical guitar quartet of real stature in the world today; in fact, they virtually invented the format.”
