All hail the Queen!

National Theater Live presents a special encore screening of The Audience at The Performing Arts Center, Purchase College on Saturday, June 18, at 2pm.

For sixty years, Queen Elizabeth II has met with each of her twelve Prime Ministers in a private weekly meeting. This meeting is known as The Audience. Through these conversations, we see glimpses of the woman behind the crown and witness the moments that shaped a monarch. Dame Helen Mirren is Queen Elizabeth II in this award-winning play by Peter Morgan, directed by Stephen Daldry. Recorded live in 2013 in London’s West End, shown here on the big screen in spectacular digital HD.
