Artist Ranjit Bhatnagar talks about Stone Song, a site-specific work located on the Purchase College campus through November 2, and made in conjunction with an open-air sound art exhibition organized by Caramoor Center for Music and the Arts. Bhatnagar is a sound artist who works with technology, language, and found materials.

Family Second Saturdays
1 – 4 pm
It’s Beautiful, It’s Crazy: a beaded tapestry from South Africa
Children will learn about Zondlile Zondo, a Zulu woman whose brilliantly beaded tapestry is now on view in the Neuberger Museum’s African art gallery. In this workshop, young visitors make their own tapestry and discover the challenges and opportunities of working with beads. Family Second Saturdays are art experiences for the whole family, with conversations and hands-on workshops. For kids, tots to ten, accompanied by an adult.

Group tours by appointment only on Tuesdays through Fridays, 10 am to 12 noon
