UPDATED: Primary Results in Harrison
The race for Receiver of Taxes is the contentious one.
Editor's Note: Results from the Independence Party primary were omitted from the original version of this report. In that primary, Helen Pesce received 29 votes and Rosa M. Luongo received 16 votes. Patch regrets the error.
HARRISON, NY — According to unofficial results from the Westchester Board of Elections, these are the results of local primaries.
In the Republican Party primary for the office of Receiver of Taxes:

ROSA M LUONGO: 193

In the Independence Party primary for that office
ROSA M LUONGO: 16
HELEN PESCE: 29
In the Conservative Party primary for that office, Maria M. Pennella was the only name on the ballot. She received 26 votes.
The Green Party held a primary for write-in votes. None were listed on the county Board of Election website Wednesday morning.
The general election is Nov. 7.
