Purchase Caring Kids Club Help Stock Kids’ Kloset

Purchase Elementary School's Fourth and Fifth Graders Participate in annual "Sock-tober"

The fourth and fifth graders that are a part of the Purchase Elementary School’s Caring Kids Club participated in a “Sock”tober fest to benefit the organization Kids’ Kloset. This non-profit organization helps families and children in need throughout Westchester County.

This particular project is entitled Fill A Van and the students of the Caring Kids Club collected hundreds of pairs of new socks to help fill a van. Some students also collected essentials such as diapers and personal items to add to the van.

The Purchase Caring Kids Club also collected Halloween Candy from Purchase school students’ trick-or-treating. The candy is then donated to nursing homes, Harrison’s Meals on Wheels program and hospitals.
