Purchase School's Caring Kids Club Supports Pediatric Cancer Foundation

Fourth and Fifth grade members of Purchase Elementary School's civic club raise money to help ailing children

The students of the Caring Kids Club at Purchase Elementary School sponsored a “Blue Day” to support children and their families who are dealing with Pediatric Cancer. The student body was asked to wear blue and donate $1.00 or more to the Pediatric Cancer Foundation. The Purchase School’s Caring Kids Club raised $500 for pediatric cancer research.

The Pediatric Cancer Foundation’s mission is to find a cure for childhood cancer. Every year more than 12,000 infants and children are diagnosed with cancer and pediatric cancer is the #1 cause of non-accidental death in children.
