Service Club Partners with HHS IB Students For Pajamas and Books

The Harrison Avenue Elementary School Service Club collected pajamas and books for area children in need

The Harrison Avenue Elementary School’s Service Club conducted a pajamas and books drive during the month of November and partnered with Harrison High School IB candidates George Williams, Justin Wilson, and Matthew Wilson who sponsored a Pajamia and Book Project for their IB CAS project.

When the totals were counted, the Harrison Avenue students donated 264 pajamas and over 100 books. The HAS Service Club made weekly announcements and tallied the pjs and books collected. On the final day of the drive, the entire school participated in a pajama day.

The pajamas and books collected were donated to a local church where they will be distributed throughout Westchester to kids in need.
