Some Parts of the Lower Hudson Valley Might See Snow

Will Harrison get any frozen precipitation?

After yesterday’s soaking rain, and a few brief showers Thursday morning, some locations in the lower Hudson Valley could see a few snow flakes tonight into Friday morning, possibly even 1-3 inches to affect the morning commute.

Depending on how far west or north you live, there is up to a 40 percent chance of snow late Thursday night. That would be after a slight chance of rain.

Locations such in southern Westchester have the higher chance of snow, possibly 1-3 inches. In Putnam County, Brewster has a 20 percent chance, the National Weather Service says. Even in Rockland County, Nyack has a 20 percent chance of snow, while the forecast for New City does not contain the word “snow.”

For Friday, it will be cooler with high temperatures ranging from the mid 30s to the low 40s.

We are still looking for mostly sunny skies and cool temps for the weekend. And the next threat of snow, at this point, is for Tuesday and Wednesday.
