State Police Chase 4, Charge 3 Teens in Volvo Theft Case

Three Harrison residents face felony charges.

On August 5, 2015 at about 1:09 p.m., State Police stopped a black 2006 Volvo S60 on I-287 for speeding (92 mph in a posted 55 mph zone).

Police said as the trooper approached the car, the driver drove off with his three passengers.

The trooper pursued the car, which ended when the driver stopped at Kenilworth Avenue and Westchester Avenue, and all four occupants ran away.

With the assistance of the Harrison Police Department, all four were safely taken into custody.

Police allege the Volvo they were driving had been stolen a short time earlier from the train station in Harrison, NY.

All four teens were transported to SP New Rochelle.

The driver, Christian M. Locke, 17 of Harrison, NY was charged with:

  • Criminal Possession Stolen Property 4th Degree, Class E Felony
  • Fleeing Officer in Motor Vehicle 3rd Degree, Class A Misdemeanor

Passenger, Roberto Trujillo, 17 of Harrison, NY was charged with:

  • Criminal Possession Stolen Property 4th Degree, Class E Felony

Passenger, James R. Grillo, 17 of Harrison, NY was charged with:

  • Criminal Possession Stolen Property 4th Degree, Class E Felony

The 4th subject was a 15-year-old and was turned over to his mother.

Locke, Trujillo, and Grillo were all issued appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Harrison Court on Aug. 18.
