Teenager Rammed Police Car, Arrested With Illegal Gun: HPD
Harrison police said a stolen Springfield Hellcat 9mm handgun was retrieved from the 18-year-old Mount Vernon man.

HARRISON, NY —Harrison police arrested an 18-year-old Mount Vernon man and recovered a loaded handgun after he fled from police and rammed a patrol car in an attempt to avoid being captured.
The incident began shortly after 5 p.m. on Monday, when an officer spotted a red Subaru Impreza speeding down Westchester Avenue. The officer tried to stop the car, but rather than pulling over, the driver later identified as Seth Auguste of Mount Vernon instead raced away, at times driving the wrong way in the westbound lanes of busy Westchester Avenue, according to police.
The driver and vehicle were ultimately located in a nearby parking lot where the driver crashed into a police car, shortly before being taken into custody. During a search of the vehicle, officers reported finding a loaded, 9mm handgun under the front driver’s seat.
