Three from Harrison Gym to Compete in Strongman National Championships
The three head to Iowa in October.

HARRISON, NY — Three athletes who train at Harrison Strength & Fitness have qualified to compete at the Strongman National Championships in Davenport, Iowa Oct. 28-29.
The event is an annual invite-only competition in which only the top competitors from each state go head to head for the title of Strongest Man and Woman in the US.
Jacqueline Wiseman (Women's Middleweight), Yeinson Campo (Men's Lightweight), and Will Harris (Men's Middleweight) will be representing Harrison, NY for 2016.

"If you're not familiar with Strongman competitions, it's similar to CrossFit except we're using everyday objects (tires, kegs, sandbags, etc.) instead of barbells and kettlebells," says Harris, who is the owner of the gym. "Strongman is essentially the sport of moving everyday objects from point A to point B as quickly as possible."
