Today In Harrison: Mobile Passport Office, Sidewalk Sale and $100K Pledge For Harrison Library

1. The mobile passport office is coming to Harrison. On Wednesday, July 31, Westchester County Clerk Timothy C. Idoni’s mobile office will be in Riis Park in Harrison from 5:30 to 9:00 p.m. and outreach staff will be processing passport applications.  Click on the link for additional information.

2. The mobile passport office will visit the West Harrison Village Green on Aug. 1 (in case you missed them on July 31), where it will be from 5:30 to 9:00 p.m. for those who need passport applications processed.

3. Jarden Corporation has pledged $100K toward the renovation of the Harrison Library. Jarden will contribute $1 toward every $2 contributed by the corporate community, up to $100K.  Read more here. 

4. The annual Rye Chamber of Commerce Sidewalk Sale begins tomorrow on Purchase Street and beyond in Rye. With 66 vendors selling their wares, there are many bargains to be had.  The sale will run through Saturday, July 27.
