Two Charged In Harrison Burglary
An apartment resident returned home and interrupted a burglary in progress.
HARRISON, NY — The Harrison Police Department announces the arrests of Steven Santiago, a resident of New York City, and Ivan Bonilla, a resident of The Bronx. They were arrested for their role in a burglary at an apartment building at 180 Halstead Ave.
They were charged with Burglary in the Second Degree, a Class C Felony.
On June 11, 2018, a resident of 180 Halstead Ave. returned to her apartment and interrupted a burglary in progress. Both men jumped out of a second floor window and fled.

Harrison Police investigators, in conjunction with the Westchester County District Attorney’s Office and the New Rochelle Police Department, conducted a month long investigation, leading to the arrests of Santiago on July 11, and Bonilla on July 12.
Over the course of the investigation, it was discovered that Steven Santiago, 32, and Ivan Bonilla, 30, were suspected of multiple burglaries throughout Westchester County, where they targeted apartment buildings.
