Two Harrison Varsity Basketball Players Receive Court of Excellence Award

Seniors Jeff Solomon and Zach Evans were honored with the Court of Excellence award for their accomplishments on and off the basketball court. The Court of Excellence award is given to the top 10 basketball players in Section 1. Both are coached by Harrison Varsity Basketball Coach Gary Chiarella and assistant Dan Pesco.

Zach Evans was also selected during this year’s basketball season as the Con Edison Player of the Week. The Con Edison Athlete of the Week program recognizes students in Westchester and Putnam Counties who excel athletically, academically, and in the areas of leadership and citizenship. Zach Evans is the first Harrison Varsity athlete to receive this prestigious honor this year.
