WESTMED Opens New Automated Clinical Lab In Purchase

HARRISON, NY — WESTMED Medical Group, a Purchase-based multi-specialty medical group, held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Thursday to officially open its new, fully automated clinical laboratory at 2700 Westchester Ave. in Purchase.

“We are very pleased to announce the opening of our new laboratory using the Siemens Aptio Automation System,” said Anthony Viceroy, WESTMED Medical Group’s CEO. This next-generation, open-systems technology, is one of the first of its kind in the Northeast. With its highly innovative instrumentation, the Aptio streamlines workflow, simplifies testing and delivers consistent, high-quality results.
