Work on I-684 in Harrison Tuesday

Lane closures are expected on Interstate 684 North between Exit 1 (Interstate 287) and Exit 2 (Route 120) in the towns of Harrison and North Castle, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 3.

Construction work will not take place between Exit 7 (Route 116) and Exit 8 (Hardscrabble Road) in the town of North Salem, as was scheduled.

Drivers are asked to use caution when traveling through the work zone area and pay particular attention to flaggers and all traffic control devices, including signs.

Fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
