Work Week Weather: Sunny and in the 60s

This week should be beautiful in Westchester County.

Sunny and in the high 60s on Monday and Tuesday, with temps rising to 70 on Wednesday, a combination Bill Potter at Hudson Valley Weather calls “gorgeous.” There’s a chance of showers on Friday.

Meanwhile, Hurricane Joaquin has been pummeling Bermuda and is just beginning to move north, according to the National Hurricane Center.

The New York area was fortunate this time. Eight people have died in catastrophic flooding in the Carolinas since Thursday, where some places have experienced more than 2 feet of rain.
