2 Dead, 1 Hurt in Suffolk County Shootings Overnight
BREAKING: The shootings occurred less than an hour and a half apart, police say.

Two men were killed and another was injured in separate shootings in Suffolk County overnight, police said.
The first shooting occurred at about 11:25 p.m. Sunday in Wyandanch. According to police, a group of people was standing on Irving Avenue near Doe Street when shots were fired. When police arrived, they discovered two shooting victims, 18-year-old Malik Stoddart and an unnamed 19-year-old man, in the street.
Stoddart, of Wyandanch, was pronounced dead at the scene. The 19-year-old was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The second shooting occurred at about 12:45 a.m. in Central Islip. According to police, 27-year-old Marcus Bohannon was walking south on Lowell Avenue at Ash Street when he was shot. Neighbors called police after hearing shots fired and when police arrived, they found Bohannon lying in the street.
Bohannon, of Central Islip, was pronounced dead at the scene.
