"40 UNDER 40" WINNER NAMED

LONG ISLAND HOUSING PARTNERSHIP'S JAMES BRITZ NAMED TO PRESTIGIOUS LONG ISLAND BUSINESS NEWS' "40 UNDER 40" LIST

James Britz, of Sayville, New York, has been named to Long Island Business News “40 Under 40.” Recognized as a future leader for Long Island, Britz has distinguished himself in the not-for-profit sector as senior vice president of the Long Island Housing Partnership (LIHP) in Hauppauge, New York.

Britz has an exemplary track record of success working with the president and board of the Long Island Housing Partnership. LIHP’s programs have grown under his leadership and include initiatives such as: down payment assistance, neighborhood stabilization, residential rehabilitation and one of the nation’s largest Employer Assisted Housing programs. Britz’s specific responsibilities include overall implementation of multiple affordable housing development and supportive programs, including responsibility for supervision of various office personnel matters and compliance with the numerous funding requirements. He is a member of the 2010 Class of The Energeia Partnership – The Academy for Regional Stewardship at Molloy College. Mr. Britz also has served on the Board of Directors for the Long Island Community Development Organization and has been recently appointed to the Housing Advisory Council of the Federal Home Loan Bank of New York.
