• Teens beat Hauppauge bottle collector, 73, then try to rob a 67-year-old's e-scooter (greaterlongisland.com) — A 73-year-old Hauppauge man collecting bottles was assaulted in the Route 111 Bolla Market parking lot, and Suffolk police say the same teens later tried to rob a 67-year-old man's e-scooter in Shirley. One 17-year-old and 18-year-old Keeghan Lynch have been arrested, while another teen suspect from the Hauppauge assault remains at large.
