Clerk Assaulted By Robber At Islandia Gas Station
The robber stole cash from the register after fighting with the clerk, police say.

ISLANDIA. NY - A clerk was injured during a gas station robbery in Islandia early Tuesday, according to Suffolk Police.
A man entered Sunoco Gas Station on 1340 Motor Parkway at about 1:05 a.m., fought with the clerk, stole cash from the register and fled.
The clerk sustained minor injuries but declined medical treatment.

Detectives are asking anyone with information about the incident to call the Fourth Squad at 631-854-8452 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
