Join Sol y Sombra Spanish Dance Company for an exciting look at the roots of Hispanic music and dance in the rhythms of the African continent. The program will feature Spanish Flamenco, the music and dance of North Africa, with guest artists from the Mosiac Dance Co., and the music and dance of the Latin/Spanish African diaspora, with MOP Dance Co. Performances will include live drummers, singers, guitarists and the Arabic Oud. Takes place at the Van Nostrand Theatre, Suffolk County Community College, Brentwood campus.
