'He Had A Friend Everywhere': Thousands Raised For Beloved LI Dad Of 3 Killed In Crash

Paul Harrison, a husband and father of three, died in a crash in early April. "The Harrisons are some of the best people I know."

HAUPPAUGE, NY — A fundraiser was created for a Hauppauge family after they lost their husband and father.

Paul Harrison, 54, was riding a scooter in Nesconset when he was killed in a collision with a Dodge Ram on April 3, Suffolk police said.

Harrison, a retired Suffolk County police officer, leaves behind his wife, Jenna, and three children, Katelynn (16), Kalli (13) and Kaiden (11), said Linda Mucaria, who is organizing the fundraiser.

"The Harrisons are some of the best people I know," Mucaria wrote on the GoFundMe. "They would give you the shirt off their backs if you asked. They are always doing everything for everyone; now it's time to rally behind them and help in any way we can. The amount of support and love they have been given already has been so amazing, and they are so grateful."

"He was one of the most popular people I knew, literally had a friend everywhere and knew everyone," Mucaria wrote. "He loved snowboarding, playing his drums, and spending time with his children. He will be greatly missed by all."
