Hateful Graffiti Found in Suffolk County
BREAKING: The graffiti was found painted on a pole on Sunday afternoon.
HAUPPAUGE, NY - Hateful graffiti was found painted on a utility pole in Hauppauge on Sunday afternoon, Suffolk Police confirmed.
Police received a report of the vandalism on Wheeler Road at about 2:49 p.m.
A photo of part of the graffiti showing a swastika painted on the pole was shared by News 12.

It is unclear what else had been painted on the pole, but News 12 claimed they did not want to share the photos because of its "offensive nature."
No arrests have been made. Police said the investigation is ongoing.

"A lot of families are scared," local business owner Julio Espinosa told News12. "Especially in this area, like Bay Shore and Brentwood, which are majority of Hispanics."
