Hauppauge Company To Lay Off 100 Employees

HAUPPAUGE, NY - A total of 100 employees will be laid off from a Hauppauge company this year.

According to a WARN notice, 100 out of the 147 total employees at Binder & Binder located on 300 Rabro Drive could be affected by the layoff.

The notice, sent out on Sept. 12, was filed due to "plant layoffs."

The company of Social Security Disability advocates will begin lay offs on Dec. 11.

Binder & Binder filed for bankruptcy in in 2014 and has already closed one office in Florida and plans to also shut down an office in Queens, according to a report in Newsday.
