Hauppauge Firefighters Welcome HS's Chamber Choir For 9/11 Remembrance

The school's chamber choir serenaded the community with four songs.

HAUPPAUGE, NY — Hauppauge High School's chamber choir performed at the Hauppauge Fire Department's 9/11 remembrance ceremony on Monday, the school district announced.

Serenading members of the Hauppauge community, fire house volunteers and staff, the chamber choir performed four songs: the national anthem, "A Parting Blessing," "Bright Light" and "God Bless America."

Recording secretary and firefighter Edward Giannelli, Deacon Edward R. Vigneaux of St. Thomas More Parish, Hauppauge Fire District Commissioner Louis Zara and First Assistant Chief Christopher Crean also spoke during the ceremony, remembering the fallen heroes of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.
