Hauppauge Girls Lacrosse Beats Kings Park, 18-5

The Lady Eagles continue their undefeated streak in Division II play.

The Hauppauge girls lacrosse team won decisively, 18-5, over Kings Park on Tuesday evening. The Lady Eagles were persistent in their attack, dominating the second half by scoring 10 goals while only giving up two.

Hauppauge took an early lead over Kings Park to end 8-3 at the half. The Lady Eagles increased their pressure on the Lady Kingsmen's defense in the second half of the game, scoring roughly once every two minutes.

Lauren Descalz led Hauppauge's offense scoring five goals and two assists, followed closely by Taylor Ranfkle, with four goals and seven assists, and Jennifer Porretto, three goals and seven assists.

The victory builds on the Lady Eagles' winning streak; they have an 8-0 record in league play. Kings Park falls to 3-5 record in Division II.

Hauppauge will travel to compete against Rocky Point on Saturday at 1 p.m. while the Lady Kingsmen stay on the road, playing Harborfields Thursday at 4 p.m.
