Hauppauge HS Earns AP School Honor Roll Recognition

The school was named to the Advanced Placement Program School Honor Roll, earning the silver distinction.

HAUPPAUGE, NY — Hauppauge High School was named to the Advanced Placement Program School Honor Roll, earning the silver distinction, College Board announced, the school district wrote in a news release.

The AP School Honor Roll recognizes schools whose AP programs are delivering results for students while broadening access. Schools can earn this recognition annually based on criteria that reflect a commitment to increasing college-going culture, providing opportunities for students to earn college credit, and maximizing college readiness.

Regarding Hauppauge High School’s class of 2023, 53% of seniors took at least one AP exam during their high school career, 34% of seniors scored a three or higher on at least one AP exam, and 18% of seniors took five or more AP exams. Hauppauge High School offers a total of 17 AP courses.
