Hauppauge Marching Band Prepares For 2023-24 Season: Photos

Band members took to the field for summer camp to begin rehearsing for the upcoming school year.

HAUPPAUGE, NY — The Hauppauge High School marching band began rehearsing for the upcoming school year, taking to the football field for its annual summer camp, the school district announced.

Andrew Monsen, the band director, is leading students in grades nine through 12. The students met for one week in August along with the kickline team and color guard to learn the show music,
marching drills and pep music for the season ahead. The band will perform at all the home
football games, including the homecoming game and the Kicks 4 Cancer event.

Monsen said the camp is a great opportunity for students to collaborate and fine tune their skills.
